Here is your chance to meet and mingle with one of Madison’s most successful serial entrepreneurs, Mark McGuire. No it’s not the baseball player but a lawyer turned entrepreneur who coincidentally is batting 1.000 when it comes to start-ups. Mark has spent the previous ten years innovating and adapting business models in the Internet marketplace. Former start-ups include nameprotect.com and jellyfish.com. IBM Challenge for College Students

As part of Global Entrepreneurship week, IBM has issued an entrepreneurial challenge open to all US college students.  The challenge: Create a new business that utilizes both 3D environments and virtual spaces that link up with the real world and very real businesses.

Presented by the Office of Corporate Relations with a grant from the Kauffman Foundation.
